Review –

Billionaire books are hit or miss for me. This one, I enjoyed.

Grayson Hart sneaks into an exclusive masquerade ball hosted by Logan Westwood. He has the counterfeit invitation, the rented tux, and the simple black mask. His reasons for sneaking in are somewhat explained in the story, though I would’ve liked to have had more info on that.

Within minutes of arriving, Logan’s eyes meet Grayson’s. The connection is instant. Before Grayson realizes what’s happening, they’re in the middle of the dance floor, dancing close as if they’re the only two people in the large room. The dance leads to private moments away from the crowd and a few stolen kisses.

Unfortunately, one wrong word is spoken and the connection is over. Grayson leaves the party without even giving Logan his name.

Logan is very powerful, so of course he has ways of finding the mysterious man; the mysterious man he’s been unable to stop thinking about.

I can’t say more because the story is super short.

This is a classic Cinderfella story. I like both Grayson and Logan. I love the mystery between them during the masquerade party. I especially love – because I’m a hopeless romantic – how Logan is determined to find Grayson after he takes off.

The only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of higher is because I wanted more. Some might say it has the perfect ending because it shows promise of what’s to come. Others might be wanting to know what happens next. I want to know what happens next.

Overall, this is a really good story that’s written extremely well. I love the author’s writing style. I look forward to reading more of his books.

A huge thank you to the author for the e-copy.
